It’s working for me in MC 5.5.3. I had to download it from Sony’s web site, strangely. I couldn’t find it on Avid’s site. The plug-in version is PDZK-MA2_Version_1.2_forMac. It doesn’t list MC 5.5.3 as being compatible, but only 5.5.2 on the Sony site. I’ve installed on two system and can confirm it works.

As I remember, this is where I downloaded it:

I’m a FCP refugee (formerly an Avid refugee) and the 7.1 mixing looks enticing, but I’m not going to buy ProTools HD hardware to make it work. Did they mention what audio interfaces it will work with?

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reply. I’ll check out the battery.

I’m certainly not doubting you, just wondering why on the 30fps. Is it because the transfer was to NTSC video and the pull-down on the audio was done at the lab/teleciné facility? I’m a fossil filmmaker and always used a Nagra IV (no TC) in the past, so I’m admittedly ignorant on this subject.
