I choose a HD 1080i60 from Easy Set Up and then create a new sequence . It works perfectly fine.

I am just rendering for playback not for out put. Is it normal to render all the HDV file in FCP?

The footage is already captured and its in hard drive . I am trying to import the footage from hard drive to FCP and when I am putting clips on Timeline after import it needs to be render.

It is rendering. The sequence is in 1080i60.
