No. On the CF card (now mounted on the desktop) the main folder is called “C Camera Interviews” This was a name given this folder by the Tech I worked with on the last gig. There is also a MISC folder which has nothing in it.

Inside the “Camera Interviews” folder is the 100EOS5D folder, and in that the .MOV and .THM files. I have tried importing directly from the cCF card. Nothing. I have copied these folders to the desktop and tried to import. Nothing. I have re-named the folder sitting on my desktop DCIM. nothing. I re-stareted. Still nothing.

I changed the folder name to DCIM and re-started the computer. Still nothing.

Thank you for the help with this! The CF card has two folders on it. One called “C camera B Roll” and One called “MISC”. MISC is empty, as always. The “C camera B roll folder” has a folder inside called 100EOS5D. Inside that folder are the MVI_xxxx.MOV files and the MVI_XXXX.THM files.

The CF card does not appear in FCP but it mounts just fine on the desk top. I have copied both the “C camera B Roll” folder and the MISC. to the desktop. Nothing appears in the Log and Transfer window.

At first I tried importing directly from the CF card reader. Then I tried copying the files to my desktop keeping the original folder and the Misc folder. But nothing appears in log and transfer. I’m sure it’s operator error, but what am I doing wrong?
