    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for the reply. I did try that, but the only software I have for converting video is adobe media encoder and I have the same problem with that. Must be an adobe thing. It only recognises parts of the video.

    As far as i can see my only other option is to capture it in another format. These are my options:

    AVI
    MPEG
    VCD
    SVCD
    DVD
    WMV

    I have tried mpeg, but that was shocking quality. Any Ideas?

    The compression used was YUY2 and sound compression was PCM.

    Hi!

    Thanks for replying! I will try to explain better. I have keyed out some sky behind some trees. So in my composition window there is just the trees with a transparent background. So then i want to render the trees and insert them into another composition. when i do this i get the blue background in my composition and i cant see the layer thats under it. Hope that was better explained. Thanks alot!
