I just said heck with the DVD, It’s not worth the frustration it’s giving me. I live pretty far away (Boonies) my closest neighbor is a 5 minute drive which I’m not going to waste gas just to test a DVD. When I get the money to spend I’ll try another brand but at this point I don’t think that will fix it either.

Thanks for your help and patience

I think I know why my disc aren’t working right. The discs I’m using is 8.5 DVD+R. Well my laptop burns DVD-R and my Desktop burns DVD+R which is what used to use to burn DVDs all the time before I got my laptop. So I’m going to transfer my DVD project on my desktop and burn the DVD on that to see if that fixes my problem

UPADTE: That was the problem wrong disc type with wrong drive tpye. Makes me feel dumb now since it was something simple and I should have know to check.

Now my next question what burn speed should I use because I burned it at 4X and my console is the only player that can Read/Play it. My desktop burner can burn speed 4X 6X 8X but 4X didn’t work on the dvd player.

No, I’m pretty much the only one out of the people I know who makes DVDs or uses video editing software.

Heres a link of the dvd I’m working on

Yes I have one in my living room that I use to test out the DVDs I make. Every disc I put in the DVD Player that I have made with DVD Architect 6.0 says “Incorrect Disc”

Hello and thanks for the reply.

Ok in Optimize Disc window at the bottom left right above the Fit to Disc button is says the default bit rate is 8.000 Mbps and in Project Properties it also says 8.000 Mbps.

Under options –> Preferences –> Burning Tab, under the burning there are render options in the minimum bit rate it says 2,000 Mbps.

What do you mean Template? I haven’t seen anything in the options or in the menu bar. Only thing I can think of you say template is the Themes and if you referring to that then I’m using the default menu they give you when you first start. I changed that menu’s back ground and added 3 buttons Play, Episodes, and Trailers.

I can use my Screen recorder and record my settings it that will help.

By the way I’m using 8.5 Dual Layer disc by Memorex.
