YES when in manual mode the AGC is disabled. The camera is a blast to work with. We have used it on three actual full featured films with no problems what so ever. I would rather use the 60D than any other camera Canon makes. We use five of them in a full rig setup on a daily basis with ADOBE Premiere Pro CS5.5 , everyone has their own personal likes and dislikes. That is what makes America Great. Still land of the free.

The 60D is a great camera to use for what your friend is trying to do. I agree the camera operator has to know what he is doing and use a fluid head tripod made for video and a built in stable mode for hand held with a HDSLR rig. The 5D or 7D would not have made any difference. Remember practice makes close to perfect. As perfect as the human can get it. Good luck with your debate with him.

The 60D is the best camera for the money and actually in the long run better for HD video that the 7D and the 5d both. The 60D is a camera that has all the bells and whistles that a professional camera man would ever want. Keep up the great work Canon. The 60D also works well with any shoulder rig or slider. It does not over heat like the T2i does once in a while.

The Telephoto Lens from Canon 28 to 135mm is a great lens for HD Video.
It has a built in stabelizer that makes a big difference.

She can’t do anything since he already has the Pilot edited and ready, that means he owns the copyright, I just went trhu this on protecting my own show, in Federal Court. The one with the Pilot ready first owns the copyright, and that is a fact.

    Hey Grinner Hester,
The woman is a blundering idiot, she is way off her rocker. She can’t claim squat. She needs to grow up before we Pro’s in this business like yourself included eat her lunch and feed it back to her. She has not got the money to claim the claims she is trying to make. Hollywood would spit out after using her for chewing gum. You just keep up the good work.

You hang in there, stick to your guns. Every one has a hand out these days. Go ahead with the
third and fourth, and fifth episode. She is just money hungry and wants something for nothing.
You have the right to do what you want. The last time I checked, this is still for now a free America. You go for it dude.
