    Just to follow up:
Avid has solved my problem on their community forum.
All I had to do was go to p2 folder inside Avid Media Composer folder on my c: drive and delete all folders inside that p2 folder. I guess these folders or files are similar to the two database files in Avid Media Files folder that I have to delete sometimes so Avid can rebuild it.
So far no more errors…thank you Avid.

  • hello,
Just out of the blue…I don’t recall changing my MC Adrenaline 2.7 system in any way…When I import p2 clips to bin I get this error: Exception: bmfiHPDomain_OBJECT_ID_OUT_OF_RANGE. An error occurred loading database H:p2 Footage BU#2Health Mandate0509

It happens with all my p2 footage archived or new. I have tried logging in as administrator in MC instead of my user name and I was able to trick some footage into coming in with audio…thought that was it…but no… after trying some other footage…same thing.
I get the error above…then after clicking on error the video portion will load in without audio. I know I can drop footage into Avid MediaFiles MXF1 folder, but this import clips feature was so convenient.
    Any help would be appreciated.
