I just purchased a new MacBookPro with Maverick’s OS. I am trying to install my Final Cut 7 application. There is a little check box next to Final Cut Pro on the install page, but I cannot check it. All of the other boxes are checked. The disk I have in is the install disk for my upgrade from Version 6. My new laptop will have nothing to do with it (I guess that should have been obvious to me). I am moving on to Premiere and, maybe, FCPX, but I love FCP7 and would like to keep using it on my spiffy new computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
