Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. And thanks especially for your enthusiasm and support and lobbying on behalf of the COW.

The feature you suggest *was* a part of the COW for years, and was found by using the forum directory choice “categorical, with descriptions” but it looks as if in all of the changes we made, we left that one out.

Thanks for the reminder, we will get it added back in.

    Best always,

    What about Audio Professionals, Bob?

Would that qualify as a worthy destination for a bitchfest?

    ;o)

We removed it as it is a reply to a 5 year old post made in the TEST POST forum. A question that went unanswered for 5 years because it was made to the wrong forum.

We do not support discussions in the TEST POST forum. That is not its purpose.

Sorry of that offends you but we do not want conversations going on in that forum. It is not why it exists.

    Best regards,

  • Hi Rick,

The cinematograpgher is Ron Chapple and the link to his reel with more information about the shoot is at:

Oops, sorry to have spaced on that information.

  • PS: we have been testing out a new player (which is not the one we use today on these embeds) and in our tests, the new one looks to be working better with smoother playback than this one you see in this embedded video above.

Please be aware that we are always working hard to fine-tune our system and to give our users the best support that we can give you all. We know that the existing system “chirps” and that is why we are investigating various players and wrappers to squash this playback bug.

Also, we just today ordered another dedicated server to join the farm that will be dedicated to Flash video serving and is an incredibly high powered server. It should be done and added to the server farm in the next week to two weeks, so the chirping and stalls should be a thing of the past once it is installed.

    Best regards,

    Ron Lindeboom

Did you actually read what I said, Scott, or are you just prone to implied misinterpretation???

I never said that broadcast television was going to disappear. I merely said that cable television is going to find fewer and fewer customers as people learn about things like the ROKU device and also learn that their PS3s and others devices allow for the same kinds of things.

I can watch many of the network programs right now on the Net.

The networks aren’t the ones who are going to hurt in this equation. It will be the cable companies who want to force people into packages that run the better part of $100 a month when all they want is a few channels in the whole set-up.

    That was my point, Scott.

    Sorry you misinterpreted it.

    Hello Norman,

He has been given the Execution Order. His account has been terminated and his posts removed, as well.

[John Davidson] “You mean, we can have space battles AND drama that doesn’t involve 15 minutes of bs technobabble about dilithium crystals?”

Excuse me, John, as we need to reverse the quantum flux on this website and get the silicon persistent current flux correlations calculated by the quantum chaology.

After that, we will have to reboot the transverse neutronial vericyclometer.

That should power-up the TV so that we can watch Battlestar Galactica, so we won’t miss what happened on the Planet Kolob when the Council of 12 built sex kittens to pump up the ratings on the show they’d left with SciFi.

Throw in Farscape, Stargate, Invasion, Surface, The 4400, etc., etc., and it is all quite over the top.

I suspend disbelief watching all of it, and just enjoy it instead. In fact, Kathlyn and I sometimes “predict” what solution they are going to come up with: “Reverse the quantum flux, Captain! It’s gonna blow!”

And it usually does, but only on the first few seasons of Battlestar.

    🙂
