Everyone that knows Kathlyn, listens to her. Me, most of all. She is a smart woman with a great heart and a gentle spirit. She is generous and kind, as well as truly caring about others. Over the years, I have learned that I am indeed one of the most fortunate of men to have Kathlyn as my wife.

As long as you use a unique email address for the company account, Andrei, you can set up a second account.

Names can be repeated but email addresses must be unique.

That is how it works here at the COW.

Thank you, Jeremy. The best things users and leaders can do is contact their service providers and ask them why they are blocking Creative COW mail.

They automatically assume that we are spammers because with 1.7 million users a month now, there is a lot of email that goes out from a site like this. Because they’ve never heard of it, they automatically assume it’s spam.

We have grown to where we are so big — for a small company — that we are in “no man’s land.” We are big enough that we are being seen as a huge email source but not big enough to where they have come to realize that we are legitimate.

Most mail gets through but there are days when some email gets delayed delivery — and in a very few cases, gets filtered to the bit bucket.

Assuring your service provider that you want mail from Creative COW and that it isn’t spam — along with whitelisting us in your address book, etc. — is something we hope that you and other members will do to help get us through this period of no man’s land.

Hi Fred,

Tim Wilson is not our sales manager, he is our Associate Publisher/Editor-in-Chief. Tim Matteson is our sales manager. Though neither of them is to be confused with Tim Wilfong, with whom we worked as our technical director years ago. I am thinking of hiring one or two more Tims just to keep things interesting.

We have never encouraged monetary contributions to Creative COW and do not really wish to ever start such a thing. We are advertiser supported and that works for us.

But thanks for thinking of us, it’s appreciated.

Oh, and Tims thank you, too — two???

We have this feature, Michael. It is on the right-hand side of your blog when you are logged-in, and is broken out by year and by month, etc.

I’d say it was hidden by banners, except that we don’t use banners in our blogs.

Just now, when I looked at it, the archives occur inside any of your blog posts on the right just below your bio and your tag words. I think the archive should be above the tagged words, not below them.

I will have Abraham swap out their position so that it is more obvious what is going on.

It’s not that we wouldn’t have liked to have done something this year at NAB, it’s just that with such a small team we have to focus and do those things which are most advantageous to the COW for the cycles spent.

We will be at NAB this year, but only for a couple of days — and yes, I will be super-gluing my shoes on to protect them from Bob Zelin while we are there.

Oh, Cowdog says to tell Bob: “I like shoes, too! They’re tasty, especially the old well worn ones!”

I better go give the ole dog his morning bowl of kibble and beer…

Yes, Sean, if you have the money to take classes, etc., it is a useful thing to do. But if funds are tight, the showfloor itself is full of educational/informative things that will keep your brain sizzling for days.

But avoid Bob Zelin, especially if you wear the same size shoes he does — as if he gets really excited about things and wears his out running back and forth, your shoes will not be safe.

Be warned.

Oh and wear good shoes, nice ones too. Bob hates anything less. It just wouldn’t do…
