Are you using the version from Mac App Store? That only supports OpenCL. Please download the version from Blackmagic website to get access to CUDA.

This is a known issue in v11.1. The next update will have a fix for this issue.

make sure you are rendering in target mode (single clip), and not in source mode (multiple clips). Source mode render is designed for round-trip back to Avid/FCP, etc.

FCPX likes to make compound clips for things like sync’ed audio etc. We try our best to break it up into regular video/audio clips, but sometimes it’s not possible as there are different effects within the nested clip, and also at the top-level. If you can post your FCPX XML, we can check it here.

It should be fine.

In Project Settings, Color, Timeline Settings, you can use the “Automatically cue” setting. This affects which frame Resolve will cue to when switching clips, and also which thumbnail is shown by default.
Even if you set it to a very high number, Resolve will not cue to more than half the length of the edit.

You need the 10.1.3 beta for 12-bit output.

Are you on v11.1 beta? There is a fix for tracking compound clips.
