I see. this is not the first time I came across such a request. there are several ways you could lock the content in a way that changing it will be problematic, but isn’t the whole idea of giving source files is to allow changes to the file later on? anyways, let’s try to get creative with this. there are two ways that come to mind:
1. pre-render some of your comps, so there will be much less keyframes, just mostly rendered footage item
2. bake your key-frames via an expression. click alt+stopwatch, and type value. now right click on the property, go to Animation – > Key Frame Assistant -> Convert expression to keyframes. the animation will of course remain the same, but to change it will be a headache because instead of this

you can lock a layer and you won’t be able to change any parameter for that layer until you unlock it.

if the screen is moving you need to use the proper workflow for placing an element on a moving object. a big part of it is Tracking the object. information here : https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/tracking-stabilizing-motion-cs5.html

if there is no movement, and you are just looking for an easy way to place an element in perspective – use the Corner Pin Effects or the CC Power Pin Effect.

I see. this could be related to how face book compresses your video. you could try contacting facebook support and see if they have something to say about it. I see not special setting they recommend for video upload:

you could make sure this is not a browser/monitor issue by downloading the video from facebook and watching it in Ae – this will make sure that the washed out appearance was caused by facebook encoder and not something else.

if this is the case – facebook encodes your videos washed out – you could try to make test and over compensate for the differences in Ae, and this is not a monitor/browser issue, you could try and overcompensate for the differences between what you render and what you see eventually to make it look just right.

one other option that is worth testing is to use a 3rd party free encoder called “HandBrake” for encoding your videos, and see if the final result in facebook is different.

it’s probably just your browser viewing the colors as washed. run a simple test: watch your video in your browser – does it look washed? if it is, that’s your browser problem and not the videos. watch it again in Ae – is it o.k? then it means it’s o.k. there are many ways to do this. one of them is using the vectors of the + sign and animating the path.

Harry Frank demonstrates different ways to link particular to a 3d trail moving element. more specifically you use a light layer as your emitter in particular and this way you have a 3D native after effects layer as your source of particles. attach it to any of your track points, nulls and it will move accordingly. I would recommend you read the manual and watch this channel.
