thank you for the file. this is interesting. I find the integration between rotoscoping in Ps, and video in Ps with Ps->Ae workflow fascinating.
all of your layers were imported as sequences. you can see it by the icon.
you should import them with the psd sequence unchecked.still you are correct, it seems that when you import a video timeline that has a video layer, all of your layers will be imported with the duration that was set for them in PS. this should not be a problem for the video layer (beautiful animation BTW) because that’s the animation you want. as for the other layers, the workaround are easy:
1. time remapping like you suggested
2. * my favorite: you can extend only one layer, and you will get all of them in the duration you extended that one layer in Ps. good news – you can do this even after you imported the file and it will update with the new duration.
3. set the interpret footage for each to loop (as many times as you want) and you can use remember interpretation – apply interpretation for all of them (10 seconds and you are done)see if you get it to work.

for me it looks like Op accidentally imported his Psd file as Psd sequence. there is not a mention in his post that we want’s to import an animation. so I really thing david is right on the money

if you work with a video timeline, when you import your psd, if the layers were not video layers, then Ae will keep your editing.

it appears it does not support video layers so no luck there and you will get an error message and the editing won’t be retained.
you can of course render your Ps video and import to Ae.

this should work:
1. duplicate the footage layer with the clone effect
2. set the clone effect to “paint on transparent” for the duplicate. now you have just the stamped clone on transparent.
3. disable the effect for the original footage layer
4. parent the duplicate to the null.

Ah ha. so the text is a graphic element, and not part of the video. it was placed on the footage in post and now you want to remove it.
if there is movement behind the text, you are in a mess. it’s like a watermark and the reason watermarks are so effective is that unless it’s on a static background, or one that doesn’t change much – you can’t remove it unless carefully replacing everything that’s under there with the same exact movement which could range from really easy (just a shirt moving) or insane (people dancing with lights everywhere)
without seeing your footage and what exactly goes on there, you are probably left with 2 options:
1. blur the text (this is the common approach in news feeds for example)
2. crop the footage
one more thing: probably the only time frame by frame patching will work for you is when the footage moves so fast from frame to frame, or the frame rate is super slow (stop motion for example). the problem with frame by frame fixing is that there are inconsistencies in movement, color and brightness, mask edges and so forth. you can never get right if you work frame by frame (unless super fast or stop motion). you should work with keyframes, tracking, and so on.

Content aware on video – wouldn’t that be something ?
If you want to remove/add element on video, it is more complicated because you have the time factor and images usually change over time. Your image could be moving so you need to match the movement and choose from different match moving techniques. There could be brightness or color changes (though it could seem there isn’t) and you need to match it too.
If this is all news to you, you may need to read/watch about compositing and object replacement in after effects.

I sometime use motion blur. more for the text and graphical elements and not for the seaming because that works fine. I just use an elipse mask with some feather for the stills to blend them better. with the movement and the fact that it’s aligned perfectly there should not be any problem. I have made much more extreme zooms. it just means you use more levels of zoom. to make it easier I work in precomps sometimes so if I scale one layer to 7% and need another zoom level, I just precomp it – now I can place another 7% scale layer inside it easily. at the end I press the collapse switch for all the precomps. all the layers are 3D of course. I use the “front” view to zoom with the camera and not affect the Active camera. it’s a setup worth investing in because once you are done you are free to control the movement and timing anyway you want and not bound to time remapping with video of google earth, tracking, and all the complications that may result from it.
2 assets I use constantly and would like to share with you:
1. for far away high rez flat maps:: chengfolio google map customizer: https://www.chengfolio.com/googlemap.html#satellitemap. I can set it to any width and height (I would not go overboard) and use fireshot chrome extension to capture it to a jpg. this will give me completely flat maps from far distance (what google earth does not do because it’s a sphere). when you zoom in you are going to see the google watermark – that’s when I take the maps out of google earth.

I have been doing google earth animation for many years for different news and educational broadcasters. we do this to insert our graphics over the google earth images. in my experience, tracking of google camera (google earth video) can be very tricky. only if we are planning to use some perspective we track the footage using the 3D camera tracker. we use crosses to help it track (plant them as layers in google earth in different zoom stages). but I usually don’t bother with any of that and just composite my layers as flat high resolution stills at different zoom levels and this way I can use the AE camera and get much more control.
this is an example of compositing of different high res images one on top of the other at different zoom levels.
