Thank you. This information is helpful. However in this case I do need to render the stills in order to playback. The appear in the timeline with a red render bar.

I’m glad to know this issue won’t affect export or delivery. But working with these stills is a very slow process.

Thanks. The problem is that I have to render every still. I was attributing that to the frame rate issue.

Thanks for the responses. As far as clip spanning goes, the clips that won’t connect are from the middle of the card. They are spanned with other clips on the card but not spanned across two different cards.

Also, I had a typo before. The clips are .mxf not .mfx. My bad.

I do have the most recent plug-ins for AMC 5.5. I do think it’s a spanned clip in the sense that all clips on the card are not longer than 04:53:12. However, like I said before, all the other clips on the card link and transcode without problem. There are just a few that won’t link at all and no error message appears.
