  • I know this is an old post but hopefully you will see it!

You mentioned that pasting the tracking data on to the null and deleting the anchor point data will place the null in the centre of the selected tracking area. I get this and it works fine for me. However do you know if its possible to change where the null attaches itself? For example…

I have tracked the side of a box moving across the scene. It has tracked perfectly but I want to attach an object to the top of the tracked square rather than the centre of it. Does that make sense?

I know I can just adjust the anchor point of the object to sit on the top of the box but that leads to problems as the box travels.

Im not sure if i have made that very clear!

    Thanks! 😛

Cheers mate, for some reason I wasnt getting a good track from AE, after playing around with some more settings in Mocha and choosing to copy the tracking data to AE as translation data i managed to get a good clean track and then just had to move my characters anchor point around a bit.

    Cheers.

  • Hi Joe, thanks for your reply. I have tried this and to no avail 🙁

I refuse to believe that the project is a loss! its sitting there in front of me! lol.

Hoping for some other answers :/

    So far I have:

    -cleared the cash
-relocated the entire project file to another HD
-imported the project in to a new project
    -reset my preferences
    -restarted machine

I’m tempted to re-install PP but I really don’t see how this could help as its ONLY this project. all my other projects work completely fine :/ I even started a new project today and no problems at all. Very strange as I cant find any corrupted files either. All the original clips in finder preview fine.

If i find a reason/cure I will post it up here just incase someone else has the same problem, until then; Hoping for some more responses 😉
