    Hi,

I found the problem. All I had to do was unmark all the ctlF* keyboard shortcuts in system prefs (duh…)

I suspect the second problem (faster back/faster forward) is unsolvable… these speeds will have to do.

Still curious for some user reviews though 😉

I think I’ll try the Roxio player first. Just found this warning on soe “learnfinalcutpro” site:

    WARNING:
This plug-in is for Panasonic AVCCAM products only – AVCHD clips recorded on equipment other than AVCCAM products slow Quicktime to a crawl and have Audio and Video out of sync. I have tried it with mts (AVCHD) clips from Sony Cameras and it does not work correctly, so DON’T use this plug-in for any footage other than Panasonic AVCCAM products listed below.

I’ll let you know if it works.

    Thanks again Rafael,

I’ll give it a try tomorrow at work. I did watch the tutorial on tapeless workflow, but I can’t remember him talking about GF-cam material specificly. I have the XD-cam l&t plugin already installed.

    Thanks for your reply,

Do you mean by ingesting it with the XDcam log and transfer software?
