Hello,
Thank’s for your answers.
The film will be print in 25fps, we can print like this on the CINEVATOR and movie theater in Switzerland accept the 25fps for 35mm. PAL 50i or 25p is good for that, it’s just 1 frame more than 24.
If I well understood you : I should grade in interlace, output in DPX full frame (this DPX will contain both fields), and rerender in shake, after effect or combustion to output new De-interlace DPX ?

For me, A sofa in front of me, a desk between me and the sofa. A DILA aobe me, and my working station on my left. And good things, the client can be stand up in front of the screen without projection of his shadow.

Hello,
Thank’s for your answer. I gonna ask them. About the gamma information, I thaught that was implicit when it’s in REC709, but I think I’m wrong… then where can I found this information ? (You mean the gamma of the computer 1.8 or 2.2 ?)

hello,
This is exactly what I did. But what do I should tell to the lab for a 35mm print.
I graded a feature in “scale mode” from Canon 5D, it goes on my projector in “legally scaled values”. I don’t use any LUT (I just know that I’m in REC709).
Now (and I didn’t know that before) we need a 35mm print for this film, then I output in DPX 10bit. What do I should tell to the lab to be sure they will interpret correctly the footage ?
I was thinking to say that : DXP 10bit, REC709, 0-1023. Do you think it’s correct ?

XML, multilayer, and more precise PTZR tool in input and output Format tab (without Davinci panel it’s impossible to do it with precision (even with tangent wave)) it could be good to have values with more steps in the Format tab.

But it’s a question of narration, it’s not very enjoyable not to be able to see the chronology of the final result. With 2 or 3 mutlilayers I would be able to grade with a total vision of the project.
