Todd Terry, I was wondering if you could help with this problem. Seems like from this post you could help.

I have almost no knowledge about video production, (still photog, here), and I’ve got about 1.4 TB of MXF footage from a canon xf100 that needs to be converted to MP4 so that the footage can be uploaded to Youtube. The footage is from a week long conference, so the YouTube clips will be about 1.5 hours each. The canon xf utility was used to backup the footage to a hard drive.

My limited experience with video is only with canon 5Ds so right now I have no workflow for this process.

I was handed this project in my NGO as the only person in the Org who knows a thing about video (sadly). At this stage I’ve attempted merging the MXF clips from within XF Utility like you suggested above, but there is no option to do it that I can find after looking very thoroughly and repeatedly. Definitely lost, here.
