  • I do not have SS located under Start/All Programs. Completely lost at this point.

  • Mr. Womble,

I’m still confused about something. On the timeline, I highlight it, then I go to export, and then I click on QT ref, it sends the file to my hard drive.

So how do I get the QT ref file from my drive to the sorenson squeeze?

And when I export it by clicking directly on sorenson squeeze, it goes to my hard drive but like usual far surpasses 5mb.

I don’t know if I’m making any sense or not. Again, I’m only semi-technically literate.

When I do what you suggested below, the Avid does save it as a folder. What I don’t understand is how to open up Squeeze.

  • Does your Avid system have Sorenson Squeeze?

Yes it does have Sorenson Squeeze.

If so, just export a QT reference file and let Squeeze use that.

Forgive me once again since I am still learning these technical elements. But once I export the quicktime reference, how then do I Sorenson squeeze it? Do I import it back into the Avid timeline?
