Does a frame rate of 23.98 automatically mean progressive? Otherwise, I’ve checked again, and I don’t see any progressive option when creating a standard def file. Where is the progressive option that you’re seeing? : )

I do see high def options that include a p, such as 720p and 1080p. But no standard def options that include a p.

Hey Mark – I have several of your Apple Pro Training books – good stuff.

Yes, the DVD will be standard def 720 x 480.

I’m still wondering, though, if there’s a progressive or interlaced option when creating a Motion 3 file. When talking about video footage, isn’t there a standard def option of progressive? I know that the Panasonic DVX100 camcorder shoots 24p (progressive) video. So wouldn’t there be a standard def, NTSC option to create a progressive Motion 3 file?
