Mark, thanks for the suggestion. I will uninstall and reinstall FCP and see what happens.
Floh, I will go back and see if any of those bad frame files were acquired under 10.6.8. I have plenty of HD space & RAID Falcon III with 6TB.

Entered from the edit menu, insert title. When I click edit an empty white screen appears, then I get the Media 100 quit message.

Thanks to all who responded; you have helped me make up my mind. I will wait to see what comes out of NAB, but unless their are some big surprises I’ll go with the Media 100 HD or HDe.
