    Hmmm… No that is not it. That is what you would need to do if an .MP4 file somehow got orphaned from it’s parent BPAV folder. Importing an .MP4 like this creates a new BPAV folder for it so that it is correctly recognized by the clip browser software.

    I am saying that we have one BPAV folder (no problem with it structurally) which contains two different shoots. I need for those two shoots within that one BPAV folder (which also only contains one .MP4 file) to become two separate BPAV folders.

    This would be like if you had a single .MOV file and wanted to make it into two separate .MOV files, you would simply load into FCP and cut it at the desired point and save the two clips as separate .MOV files.

    Anyone???
