I heard from steve that this cam is still acting up! I had mentioned that some cams have an RF warning sensitivity adjustment. That way if there isn’t any true problems but the warnings still persist…you can set the threshold higher. Check with panasonic.
This issue had happened to me with a betacam as well as an hdcam…both took a few cleanings and constant checking to ensure that there wasn’t a problem even though the “red light” and rf warning kept coming up.
I’ve also had the same issue from humidity…and a single grain of sand!
