    Hi Russ,

Sorry about the late response…I either didn’t get an email notification or missed it completely.

I’m looking to create this camera effect – an extreme perspective view in which the tops of the buildings are much larger than the bottoms, and all lines are approaching a single point:

Ok, I think I know what’s going on. Am I confusing the NLE integration capabilities of RED and Continuum? I think I’m wanting RED to behave like Continuum in Vegas.

If that’s the case, sorry to waste your time John.

    John,

I’ve tried everything I know how, but I cannot get the Boris Red Plugins to show up in the Vegas Plugin Manager.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Boris Red using custom settings, and using the install wizard, I designated the Sony “Video Plug-Ins” folder as the destination for the Boris plugins. Nothing showed up in the Vegas plugin manager except for a few BCC filters that have always shown up and are apparently from a BCC trial period that’s now expired.

I’ve tried to copy files from the Boris Red subfolders to the Sony Vegas “Video Plug-ins” folder, the “OFX Video Plug-ins” folder and all of their subfolders. These are the Boris Red subfolders from which I grabbed various filters/effects in order to copy to those Sony Vegas folders mentioned above: BCC Presets 7, BorisPlugins5Common64, FEC Presets 6, Keyframe Libraries 5.

After copying the files, I would load the Plugin Manager in Vegas, refresh the folder tree, but no Boris Plugins would show up. Again, only the BCC7 trial version filters would show up and when applied to an event, the preview window shows a message saying that the filters are expired.

What do you think? I’m sure I’m probably missing something obvious. I’m still trying to do this on my PC so that I can inform IT how to do the same on my work machine.

    Respectfully,
    Rob

    Wow, straight from the source!

Thanks, John. I’ll putz around with it at home this weekend to see if I can locate the plugins, create a folder for them, and actually be able to access them from Vegas.

And thanks for your great tutorials. Is there a website where I can access all of them at once?
