  • Aanarav,

I’ve taken several screenshots of the project settings and the preferences. You should be able to get to them by going to ftp://adobe:premiere@216.177.116.37

In the main folder there are 4 screenshots. Two are from when I try to use “Canopus Realtime DV” for the Editing Mode and I encounter the problem of the video/audio stuttering and the frame counter running slow.

The other two pictures are when I use “DV Playback” and everthing plays as it should (frame counter runs normally / frame counter numbers change quickly). Since this isn’t using the Canopus plugin, I’m not able to output video/sound through the breakout box output jacks, which I need to be able to do.

The New Project folder has all the settings for a project. Between the two projects types, everything is the same except for the Editing Mode setting. I just change the setting in the dropdown and it either works or doesn’t work correctly.

The Preferences folder has screenshots of the preference settings.

Hope this helps. As you hinted, I am starting to suspect that Canopus’s drivers and Premiere plugin are not up to date and are probably the cause. I have the latest downloads of each and the stutter problem exists. Installing the Premiere Pro 1.5.1 update didn’t make a difference either.

When I get to work tomorrow, I think I may uninstall everthing and load the older Premiere Pro (not 1.5) software, and use the previous drivers and plugins I used on another PC that has Premiere Pro and DVStorm 2 installed and working. I haven’t had this problem until I tried to use Premiere Pro 1.5 and DVStorm 2 Pro. The more I look into this problem the more I suspect that the two have issues even though they are bundled together.

Thanks for looking into this and I look forward to your suggestions or anyone else’s.
