I usually use levels for my color corrections and I go for what looks good, having done that, when a supervisor/DP looks at a plate with a color correction applied to it. They like the plate lets say, but then will ask to take it back a stop, (keeping in mind that the supervisor is coming from a tradtional photo background). I can drop my gamma by half or double, etc, or another situation might be if I need to wedge a plate and I can drop the “exposure” by stops or half stops. I guess my question is mainly out of curiosity as to whether there is something such as a levels that works in stops? I know eLin has an eWedge effect that works in stops for wedging, provided you are in eLin space.

    thanks for the reply
