so on one hand we have HD output and on the other 2K. To be on the safe side, what hardware or software (in addition to what i have) do you recommend to speed up previews/renders for HD output? For 2K?

I haven’t started work on the project yet so there are still some questions i need to address with the filmmakers, but I can tell you that they are film purists so they are probably going to use a datacine to go to 2K and stay away from tape at all costs. They will edit with an AVID, I would assume it’s an Adrenaline, so my output is going to have to cater to 2K res for use in an AVID timeline.
