    I tried your suggestion of “Exporting Media” but I exported both Video and Audio, then took the quicktime movie into Compressor, used the DVD presets ac3″Dolby Digital Pro” and “MPEG-2″…….and it WORKED !!!
    I have audio throughout, all in sync, and video looks good too.

    Can’t thank you enough for your help!
