Thanks! Yes; I’ve checked out pretty much every tutorial on the subject here and it’s been helpful. I still have to do a lot of masking -tedious, but it helps.

I did use a “real” chroma key cloth, but it is a rather dark blue color, which has made it difficult to achieve clean edges when it comes to the hair on peoples heads. Keylight can’t detect an edge (or so it seems), making the edge around the hair flutter like a storm was passing through. Other than that, the edges are clean and good-looking. I realize I may be hoping for too much, using standard DV footage and a dark blue background…
