Well — one of the things i do is a lot of continuous rolling shooting and because of the subject matter I just let er rip. I also do a lot of out of sequence shooting so i find sub-clipping as a first step of workflow is crucial and then I toss the various sub-clips into bins and since i use mostly FCE right now – i can promote them all to masterclips – with er “full rights”. That first set of steps creates for me my action sequences set up in he right order to now lay down the right time track — which is why i find subclipping useful.
