    Hi Mads,

Thank you for this. As I mentioned to Ann. I had never heard of this before until this post. I think some time long ago I had experienced a similar situation on a Canon XL1s, however that had no bearing on this issue here, and we are miles ahead in technology and upgrades than what that was. I am going to forward your advice to our professors in the television and film departments so they can have a record of this issue if it presents itself in future projects.

Again thank you, have a great day and a blessed week.

    Cheers,

    Rich

    HI Hector,

Thank you for your feedback. I have used Premiere Pro and MXF files for years for the majority of my editing. I have seen this happen once before a long time ago, and inquired via the Creative Cow on correcting it then. The feedback given at that time was to unlink the footage or to disable the footage and then reconnect it, or re-enable it. At that time it worked. Now with the MXF footage imported it looses the video image in the project pane. I work at a University, so being able to correct this issue in MXF is important. Im sure it will happen again to other students so knowing how to correct it is paramount. Thanks and have a great day and week.

    Cheers,

    Rich
