And also this will coincide with depreciation schedules. Folks who bought Avid last year depreciate it over 60 months. Right about the time they’ll need to purchase again … very interesting.

Not true at all. In the options panel there is an option to turn thinking off or on.

My opinion is it hasn’t changed.
My opinion is also that if folks actually take the time (but hopefully they are too busy with paying clients to learn new software) to cut a project, they will like it too. -

Looking at your keywords.
Have you tried keywords: “chorus” “solo” “verse”? Thinking of jazz structure, you get the “head” where the riff is established, then the “solo” then the “end.”

The option “import folders as keyword collections” for me is a big deal because I like to organize my footage into folders. I put my brand stuff in a brand folder. I can put it into any event and it will show up with the keywords of the folders. The benefit is the keywords are regularized, as the brand adds media I drop it in the folder and it has the same keywords as before.
