Thanks, Theo. Oh boy, one more thing I don’t know the first thing about 🙂

Oh, one more question, if you don’t mind.
I guess this would mean that the box would need to not only be in the background, but also in the front, if it’s gonna look like I’m INSIDE the box. Maybe this is impossible, I dunno. Thanks.

Thanks. I know there are tutorials, and I know I need to spend some serious time on those, but can I ask just a few preliminary things first?
    1. Do I need a physical green screen or fabric, etc. or the green screen setting in video effects? Are they the same thing? Dumb question probably.
    2. Do you have any ideas on where I’d go to get the state shapes?
Create them somehow myself? From maps?
    3. Any idea how I’d get it to look like the state is actually a blue box with a square to serve as a window in it, where my face would be? Somehow to have it looking three dimensional, so it’s not just a flat blue screen with a square window in it, but something that at least gives the illusion that it’s a box with a top and sides, but shaped like a state from the front, with a square window in it for my face. That’s what I’m going for.

I can figure out the Vegas-related stuff, I would hope, from the tutorials, I just don’t understand how to create the map/state/box effect, so that’s what I’m hoping for some help on. Thanks.
