Hope you are right. hiwever it seems strange to me that they havent announced cs7.
ITs not even on the adobe site. Based on their release announcement they should have. -
Does this mean that in the next release the perpetuals get everything the clouders have? meaning the upgrades to particular incommun app?
Adobe has not announced cs7 only the cloud version.So could it be that cs7 will be anounced further down the year so as to give the clouders the bang for there bucks?

Yes but it appears that it will not have all the new features that the cloud version has.
If you ready my initial post it was based on a comment in adobe about photoshop 7 perpetual lic. not getting the new features that the cloud version has, no mention of later upgrade.So iy appears that there will be to versions of tools. Adobe has called the cloud “the business version”

just heard that the perpetual lic. will not get the same upgrades the cloud. and our cowboys at NAB are awol

this is great to hear providing that the perpetual license has the same upgrades that the cloud has. the cloud idea to is only good for me only if i need an extra seat of cs7 but only as long as i have my perptual version.
