Even at $10 per month, that’s $120/year. Considering I used my previous version of Photoshop for about 18 years, had I agreed to the same arrangement then, it would have cost me $2160.

I’d rather pay $50 now and be done for a few years.

FYI I drive my cars until they die.

My partner uses the subscription every day. I jump in when we need both of us working to bust stuff out. Unfortunately, we are not supposed to use two simultaneously. But I really never tested it.

You need to disable the Perian plug in. After doing this, import your footage. Should work.

Did Sonnet ever fix this problem?

I am about to make a RAID decision and it is all coming down to reliability and comany responsiveness for me.

I’m looking for the company closest to what Medea used to be.
They used to have the best customer service(along with AJA and Ensemble Designs) of any companies I ever dealt with.

It is very scary that you were down for two + weeks without a solution.

You tone is much more patient than mine would have been.

Is there anything to beware of with the Burly Box?

It is one-third the cost of a Caldigit.

Here’s wha I found for a 4TB 8-drive system:

Caldigit HD PRO = $5319
MaxxDigital EVO HD = $4495
SOnnet D800 = $3995
MacGurus Burly Box = $1783

It seems to good to be true (so it probably is). What am I missing? Other than a $300 esata card?
