    Hi Kalle

Thank you so much for doing this simple test. And you’re right — it should just be that simple. It should just be that i make a tracking point, and the icon would sit still and move along with his head.
I have no clue why i just can’t do what you just did. It is odd that the icon jumps around like that.

Will it be ok to ask of you to send me the .aep file — and can you tell me which settings you had put on the tracking part. (Rotation, camera, scale, anchor point etc.). And is there some basic setting — besides making sure to start at the same timeframe and the fps should be the same as well — that i have missed?

I have gone through several tutorials and worked with Mocha and tracking before. This just makes me …. in lack of a better word …. confused.

    Hi Kalle

Thank you for your response. As i said to Marc; i have double checked the position and timing of the cursors positioning — and of course checked that it is not a 25 fps. vs 29.97 fps. error.

The problem — as i see it, is not the tracking, but the flickering.

    Thank you again for answering.

Hi Marc and thanks for your response

You’re right; it is a common mistake, but i am positive that this is not the case. I have checked it and double-checked it again, and after that; double checked it ones more.

And if you look at the footage, you can see that the icon is actually following the movement of his face pretty precisely. So; it is not the tracking itself that is the problem. The problem is the dancing around / flickering.
