Skeeter, if you want to compress you work for the web, you should consider taking a look at Sorenson Squeeze https://www.sorensonmedia.com/ it’s very good for this kind of job, I have compressed files from 500Mb to 5Mb, of course there is some loss of quality, but excellent quality for the web.

    I hope it helps.

Mylenium, so you always use uncompressed video?
And when all the work is done, how do you keep it?

Hey, don’t worry. I’m going to help you.
If you need it to be an AVI file (only if),slect the Microsoft DV Codec.
Now if you really want good quality video and low file size do this…
Select Quick time format and for the compression select Sorenson video 3, at best quality. 30 frames per second and hit OK. Now render it and tell me what you think.

No, the sorenson with After Affects is just the codec. Sorenson Squeeze is an independent software used do compress video, here is the link for you https://www.sorensonmedia.com/

And by the way, the trailer is not such a small file, you can get this quality with even smaller file size with Sorenso Squeeze.

Yes there is and it’s easier than it looks.
It’s white paint droping on whater with some black paper (or whatever)under it, that you can record with any video camera, then use this video as a track mattte. At Transfer mode of the video you want to reveal, select “Alpha Matte “paint video you recorded””.
    That’s all.

    I hope it helps.

    What about comp size?
    Did you pre-compose it?

    I had a similar problem.

Man, if you have Trapcode Particular it’s going to be very easy.
    Is it just one leaf?

If so, use the Follow Path option in Particular 1.5 (the upgrade is free) to create the movement (there is a video tutorial at http://www.trapcode.com), set the particle emitter to 1 at the first frame and at frame 2 set it to zero.
If you want the leaf to be flat, it’s done. If you want it to be a little bent, create a comp add the leaf at the center and make sure that this comp is much bigger than the leaf, add CC Sphere ( the bigger the comp in relation to the leaf the smaller will be the bent) then you can animate it’s rotation a little bit to give it a nice movement. Now use this comp as the particle type.
If you want more than one leaf, just play with Particular emitter

    I hope it helps.

What do you do when you have to correct a TV commercial?
By the way, are you a video editor?

    Thanks for any help.
