Thanks for all the input.

They actually will accept an unauthored DVD so that is the media I will be using. They want a seperate aiff audio trck, that’s not a problem. I will try and get some more clearification from them on Monday. I didn’t realize there wasn’t a set format for broadcast.

You asked about the color correction I just ran Firewire out to a camera to a Regular TV. Not the best but I am just making due with what I have right now.

The footage is DVCProHD 720/24p. As far as SD goes, I was told they wanted broadcast ready (it is a commercial on spec) and if I gave them HD they would just cut off the sides to make it 4:3. I would like it to be letterbox to see all the action.
I do not have a capture card I am just working with export using either FCP or Compressor. Thank you for your speedy response.

It is not for broadcast, it is for DVD. I would like to hook up to a 28″ HD set I have. I also would like to do this so I can see the correct pixel aspect and view the interpolation.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I have thought about a Kona card, it is just a little out of my budget right now. Hopefully in the future I can get one. Right now I am looking for a thrifty yet viable solution.
