Not knowing exactly what you want to do, try this first: You can change the pitch of a track by holding control and putting your cursor on the end of a track to push or pull it to compress or expand it. You can also go to ‘Options’, ‘Preferences’ ‘General’ tab and click ‘Settings’ then check or uncheck the “Preserve Pitch…” box.
If you want to change the pitch without changing the track length then you need to apply an audio effect. SVP 12 has Pitch Shift under audio FX. Right click on the track to choose Audio Event FX or click the ‘bowtie’ on the end of the track to bring up Audio Event FX. Then choose “Pitch Shift”. This little effect works pretty good. I use it to change my soft spoken voice.
