Thanks for the info. Figured it out! Quicktime needed to be uninstalled with disk repair then reinstalled.

Well looking up shutter angle it says you can calculate it like this:
Shutter Angle = fps x 360degrees / Shutter Speed

so are you saying that the shutter angle should be a multiple of 60 then?
