Thanks for that confirmation. We may need to modify the typical to RTFB 🙂

    Whoops,
Let me check that. The brightness reading does seem to be a center spot reading and goes to 108 as well. Apologies.

    Thanks for that Dan.

I have set the zebra at 95 and 100 as I am finding 95 useful the cine gamma curves that have some knee built in. I would love to know for sure what the 108% is about on Zebra 1.

My guess on the Brightness would be an average pixel brighness reading, but that is a guess. Unlike the Zebra 1, this seems to be limited to 100%.

    Any other thoughts?

  • More specifically, this seems like to much blur for 1/32nd. Was this SLS? If so, do you remember how many frames? I am getting some nice effects from SLS (just started toying with it). Not quite sure about EX Slow Shutter. Strange results for me. In honesty, I am not quite sure when one would use it. Any thoughts?

  • Hi Craig,
What did you use to get the blurring effect on the fast motion carousel clip. Was that undercranking with a slow shutter speed or something else?

    Best,
    Randy

[Steve Wargo] “How does the wife feel about the new girlfriend?”

    I wouldn’t know. I haven’t seen her in 2 days 🙂

In sincerity, I am shocked by this little camera. I am finding it very intuitive. Highlights for me so far have been the usability of the LCD for critical focus, the immediacy of the iris ring, and the feeling of dread being replaced by delight when I sit down to capture and realize that there’s no need.

I ended up picking up a Sachtler DV6 over the Bogen I had planned on and that is one nice piece of kit.

I will post some results soon.

Thanks to this group for all of the help that you have given!

    Hi Craig,

A full screen single option seems like it would be a no brainer as the process is already is already there, only the display would need to be changed. That alone would make me happy 🙂

As for RGB, that does not seem like too tall an order for the tech that is already in place, but….

    I love this camera!

No, I have not. I accidentally deleted the note from ProMax, but have requested a resend. I will post pricing and properties upon receipt.

[Craig Seeman] “”slow” is relative to “something” and the somethings are the above timebase choices.”

Are they? Or are they relative only to the timeline playback speed they are dropped into?
