Thanks.. But then how would I know which frames to insert on?

The trick is to turn off render for XML, then render the project then turn it back on and export the XML. This should work everytime.

I’ve been using FInal Touch now to do SD and HD documentaries and reality shows, and there is a lot of prep you have to do to get it to work, but it can work very well it just takes a while to get through all the glitches that are there, but it is a pretty amazing system if you get it up and running properly.

I suppose it is most likely that we have a Kona card issue then. I’ve just re-color corrected the show I am working on using the 8 bit instead of the DVC PRO and the difference is HUGE. We had lines on all the red stuff and the blacks would go to hell immediatly with any tweaking whatsoever. Now the image holds up great. What setting in the Kona could be causing this?

I didn’t use a Laptop. I use using a G5 with a kona 2lhe. I can’t think of what it could be… do you think it could be a camera setting?

Whats strange is that we have noticed a HUGE difference between the two codecs. Our red’s have ugly lines all over them, and our darks are a disaster. But it’s not just the dark stuff, it’s almost everything..
