    i have a sony dcr-trv480 digital video camera and i just went out and bought a usb/ieee 1394 pci card. and im using the video capture program that is an extension of vegas 6 to capture the video.

    so then its just the fact that i dont have a very good camera? is that why the picture isnt very good?

    thank you for your quick and helpful responses

    one last question though…what is the proper way to render mpeg2 to DVDA…there is a mpeg template that is called “DVD Architect…” but it doesnt render audio

    i guess i just need to know what format and the settings should be on that format and that would help me tons

    i am going to dvd

    would making dvds with avi cause compatibility issues possibly? because recently i did an project and i got a lot of dvd’s back because they would skip in the middle or just plain wouldn’t play. i used DVDA3 and the data rate was 8.0

    i have an hp dvd+r/rw burner thats about 4 years old and i have been using memorex dvd+r’s

    could my problem be that my dvd burner is crappin out? or should i get a different brand of dvd’s?

    …sorry if im gettin a little annoying but im getting frustrated

    my only question is why does it take till the middle of the dvd to start screwin up?
