PDZ-1 seems to want me to connect to a deck, which I do not have on this box. Just the thumbdrive with the SUB folder, as you describe.

How do you work around this?

It appears my post didn’t come across as intended. 🙂

I’m using the Proxy software you mentioned. I like it, but I can only do one clip at a time, and I want to be able to… at the end of c0007, go to c0008 without having to File->Open->C0008. Is there a way to do that?

As for your PC problem… I have no solution. Videotechnics.com may have a PC solution next year, but for $495 a pop. Yowza.

Also, I talked to their sales guy today, who said “January ’07” like I say to my wife “yeah, I’ll paint the bathroom, this weekend for sure”. Also, he didn’t seem convinved there was even a need for such a thing.

What are you using to view the clips via PC? The “Proxy Viewer” software works for me for the method you descrive, but you have to open clips one by one. Tedious, when you have several hundred, especially if you just want to shuttle through the good parts.

How about After Effects on Windows XP?

Also, where do I get the Mac codecs for XDCam?

    So many questions…
