just one other question. As you can imagine I have 100’s of these images and suppose I wanted to be able to change one of those variables. Could i set it up so that i could edit the script in one place and have it apply to all those layers?

I need the layers to reach 100% at the point they reach the x value of the null object and scale down proportionate to the x distance from the null object. the minimun scale would be like 5%.

It would be great if I could setup some sliders to have some more fine control. I dunno, maybe it could be as easy as linking the x value of the null object to the scale property with some expression.
