Thanks Dave. Sorry about that, the footage info would help you. I’m just using Photshop files and a couple of .mov(animation codec) files. The screen ratio is 1920×1080. None of the codecs that you mentioned are being used.

I’m making a piece of animation from the Photoshop files, so there are probably over 700 Photoshop files in the project. The files are between 150 and 300 dpi.

Thanks Todd. In regards to the plug-ins, no not that I know of. I’m just using Photoshop files and .mov(animation codec) files. The screen ratio is 1920×1080.

Thank you Kevin. I just resolved the problem last night.
I bought the Leopard OS, before it went of the shelves, and downloaded version 7.6.2. Your right, it was a Quicktime problem.

Of course now I have a new problem. I have a CanoScan N650U and I can’t find a driver that works with Leopard. If you know of any, I’d really appreciate it.

I was looking into that, but I have the Panther OS (10.3.9) for Mac and I don’t think it supports Quicktime 7.6.

I have a FireWire Bus on my drive, with a speed of 400 Mb/sec. I don’t know if that makes any sense?

Thanks Kevin. It renders fine as an image sequence (using png).

I don’t have Quicktime Pro, only the regular version. Would that affect the rendering of HD size files?

Thanks Kevin for responding to my post.
I’m not 100% how big it’s going to be, but I’m pretty sure it will be over 2 gigs (I’m animating–so there all Photoshop files).
How can I check the format of my drive?
