For me Brian, speaking as a dubbing mixer in post studio, I would NOT thank you for a mix, good or bad. I want everything multitracked and separate, sounding great, at the right level, with enough trained And competent personnel to make sure I get it. Nothing less will do.
I agree there should be a live mix too but that’s a scratch track for the edit only.
Just because some people try and fail to get it right doesn’t change the optimum route for me.

That’s fine. What format would you like them back in?
I’ll apply the same settings throughout . Is the problem consistently the same or is the part I’ve heard the best / worst ?

How long is the whole seq? If its not hours and hours then I’ll pop it through no prob.
Timescale. I’m out on location tomorrow so won’t be back in the studio till Monday.
I did it using isotope rx which ain’t free so I’m happy to help.
Let me know the total dur.

Ive done the best I can with it (in the limited time i have available to day)
Im attempting to attach it and send it back, but the creative cow file linking method is far from intuitive, but here goes.

I thought as much but youve confirmed my suspicions.
Currenlty we run multiple edit suites with FCP across network no problem, but avids media handling is different.

Personally I csnt bear mp3 for anything much beyond the car.
Why not record as uncompressed wavs as a starting format and then convert copies to lossy mp3.

Yep, if Mp3 is good enough for you then yes its fine.
Depends what you might want to do with is later as mp3 sounds ok (if you keep the data rate up) but it is very lossy. You cant ever get that back.
