Just speant 4 hours with adobe about mpeg2blueray. As far as adobe is concerned you sould not use it for anything other than hd dvd authoring. They could not give me an answer about what would render 1920x1080p as mpeg2 from after effects.

And importing an after effects project into adobe media encoder seeems to crsch ame at the moment. perhaps you should give that a try and let Adobe Media encoder make you hd file. if it doesnt crash of course.

Also Procoder3 from canopus is very good at turning most things into other things.

Currently i have to make quicktime in hd then run it through procoder or adobe media encoder to get a mpeg2 in hd. I am looking for another solution but havent founf one yet. And Adobe has no answers. They do however have aweful hold music.

I am using a Mac Pro Tower as a Vista machine so my issues may not help your issues
