thanks, but no I want to have the perspective view. But I want to have the grid lined up so when I move my object to the left it moves straight to the left on the x and the same on the y
one way of doing this is to add a new camera, activate that camera and then set the coordinates on the camera to:
H 0
P -19.5 (for example or whatever perspective I want)
B 0than I get the lines as I want them.
I was thinking if there is another way of accomplish the same thing more straightforward. for me this setup makes more sense …

thanks
one last question. I find it a bit confusing that the
x-gridlines are not horisontal
y not vertical
and z going straight backwardsinstead the gridlines are as default in a different perspective.
How do I change the gridlines so I get them lined up as if I move the x-coordinate the object move right-left
y-coordinate the object move up-down
z-coordinate the object moves back-frontor are there any point having them as default? only seems a bit odd to me.
I know I can change it be alt-click and rotate but is there any way/command to get the x-gridlines horisontal?
thanks for you help!

okej. thanks but I cant get it to work to get them aligned.
1) I select the objects
2) Arrange Tool – Tools/Arrange Objects/Arrange
3) when i click apply I only can get one object to move rather then getting them side by side -
1) yes, or maybe with a short distance
2) thanks, that works

so if I want to be sure that the movie always is displayed correct with letterbox regardless if its a 4:3 tv, 16:9 tv, cinema or whatever its better to force the letterbox?
so
16:9 auto Letterbox
would be to prefer before
16:9 auto pan&scsn and letterboxyou would say? would that be your choice?
how do I make this setting in toast? is it possible at all to make this selection or do I have to do it afterwards in the application:
myDVDedit ??thanks for your help

I downloaded myDVDEDit and checked the DVD and the VTS 1 are checked with
16:9 auto pan&scsn and letterboxso the DVD seems to be correct?
but one strange thing though.
I burned in toast with automatic settings and now I also tried it on my projector but the image seems to be cropped even on the projector. If I use 4:3 its displayed correct but the image is cropped. (If I use 16:9 setting its stretched)
OK UPDATE:
mixed a bit with the setup in the DVD-player and saw that it was on
4:3 Pan&ScanI changed this to
4:3 Letterboxand now it works.
but how come other movies I bought from the store always displayed correctly on my dvd even though I had 4:3 Pan&Scan settings on the DVD player???
why did mine not work untill I changed the settings in the DVD player???
My specs in Movie Inspector in Quicktime is:
______________________
Format: Muxed Mpeg2, 720×404 pixels
FPS: 25
Playing FPS:
Data Size: 373.41 MB
Data Rate: 4206.14 Kbit/s
Normal Size: 720 x 404 pixels
Current Size: 720 x 404 pixels (actual)
______________________I saw on one of those bought DVD:s that it was set on:
16:9 auto Letterboxis that a better choice than
16:9 auto pan&scsn and letterbox
thanks for help!!!
