Well… The aja support tech. just replied…. that means if i fill a form on their own sight, i will get no reply…but, if i write here i do….

i have tried all available drivers for the fx570

i can’t use premiere… i don’t want to spend more money and don’t want to learn a new software… i do have avid media composer and xpress pro….but, i want to be able to output from my fx machine with aja and machina….

the fx 570 is sitting…. the pny people here didn’t want to change the card….so i bought a fx 4400 on ebay…. i guess the fx 4400 is old enough to work with the aja? we will se when it comes.

i have had 3 decklink cards so far….not a problem… i just liked the idea of inputing and outputing dpx sequence with xena..

Maybe my aja card is not functioning right… i don’t know…

i hope i can at least solve the insert edit problem…

i also have to say that the aja seller (baran ltd.) was supposed to get back to me 3-5 days ago on the insert issue… they didn’t do a good job either…

Hi, first i would like to say thanks for the reply… i had filled a form on the aja site but, this is my first reply ever on this subject…. i am sorry to say i have done all of the above… i will check with my sony tech. just in case i need to do something with the vtr’s menu… i will let you know.

Hi, i am using Sony DVW500P digibeta vtr… it just does nothing…..but, if i hit the play button on the vtr, then it starts to go to the “in point” and after preroll it makes it look like it’s doing the insert. But, when i check the casette it’s just black.

Sorry to say i had another issue with this aja card… they responded that time, but no solution….

here goes… i have a quadro fx 540 at the moment..all is well (other than my insert problem)… i then got a pny quadro fx 570 and not when i install GPU, but, when i install the driver for the fx 570…i get a blue screen saying hardware malfunction….but, when i put my fx 540 back or if i keep the fx 570 and remove the aja all is well…… no one… nvidia, pny, or aja solved it! So now i have a fx 570 in the closet and i bought a fx 4400 on ebay hoping that will work…it hasn’t arrived yet…

So aja support is not that good….actually it’s not good….

yes, if there is no xena the fx 570 will work with it’s own drivers installed..

You’ve got the FX 570 in the PCIe x16 slot right? YES…

i even asked the pny provider here to exchange it with fx 1500 but, they didn’t accept..

Hi, i have tried all pci-e slots. i have 2 cards installed on the system. the GPU and Aja. There are no other cards installed…

What i meant was, when i install the driver of fx 570, then the system crashes… if i don not install the driver, it doesn’t crash.

yes i did… any driver installed and the system is down… Why would a driver do such a thing?

i am using the fx 540 and all machina functions seem to work..

i will try to change the fx 570 with 1500… Fx 570 is a newer model with 256 mb ram…. i hope changing the fx 570 with 1500 will solve my problem.
